The menu stands out with unique highlights that cater to diverse cravings. The Mountain Berry Lemonade provides a refreshing, fruity contrast to the savory offerings, perfect for quenching thirst on a busy park day. Among the main attractions, the Potato Tornado and its cousin, the Twisted Dog, showcase an inventive approach to fast food. The Potato Tornado—a spiral-cut potato on a stick—offers a satisfyingly crunchy texture, while the Twisted Dog amps it up by wrapping the potato around a Hanks footlong hotdog, creating a handheld delight topped with customizable sauces. These items combine fun presentation with bold flavors, appealing especially to families and casual diners seeking something different yet approachable.

For those craving a more substantial meal, the Philly Cheese Steak and Smoked Sausage and Chicken Succotash provide hearty, well-seasoned options. The Philly Cheese Steak is a crowd-pleaser, loaded with sautéed onions, peppers, and melted cheese, praised for its rich, satisfying bite. The succotash marries tender chicken and smoky sausage with a medley of fresh vegetables, balancing protein with vibrant textures. Another notable dish, the Bulgogi Nachos, introduces a fusion twist, marrying Korean barbecue flavors with a classic snack, elevating the fast-food experience.

The atmosphere is casual and family-friendly with open seating that suits the fast-counter service style. Guests like Charles Gibson highlight the welcoming vibe, often mentioning the friendly staff and the encouraging shout-out to say hi to Ms. Cricket, adding a personable touch to the visit. The space supports an easy, grab-and-go rhythm while affording moments to relax and enjoy the lively park energy around.

Market Square Big Skillet attracts a broad audience—from theme park visitors stopping for a quick, satisfying bite to food enthusiasts exploring new flavor combinations within a fast-food setting. Its location inside Dollywood makes it a convenient and flavorful option, especially during festivals when the menu shifts to showcase seasonal specialties. Customers appreciate the bold flavors and creative menu items, even if some wish for larger portions or a bit more sauce, pointing to a memorable, if occasionally modest, dining experience.

In sum, Market Square Big Skillet offers a delectable blend of innovation and tradition. Its menu captures the spirit of Southern-inspired fast food while inviting experimentation, all within an accessible, bustling environment. Whether you’re drawn by the aroma, the promise of a comfort classic, or the playful twists on familiar flavors, this spot makes a compelling case as a must-visit within Dollywood’s food landscape.

They have something called the tornado and twisted dog. The tornado is just a spiral cut potatoe on a stick while the twisted dog is the same only the potatoe is wrapped around a Hanks footlong hotdog. You have a couple of choices of toppings for it to choose from. These are very tasty But watch the ducks. There is a flock of ducks that hang out there and beg worse than my dogs did.

Went through here on the way to the fair grounds and was drawn in by the smell. Bought a prime rib sandwich which came with sautéed onions, bell peppers and cheese. Was honestly the best thing I've eaten in Dollywood in years. Staff were friendly as well.

Maple bacon potato twister is basically multiple potato chips skewered on a wood stick covered in a delicious creamy sauce with bacon and chives. It was very crunchy. I just wish there was more sauce to dip the potato in. This is a fast counter service food option. General open seating is available.

We got the Jambalaya! It was very good and had good flavor! Only thing we wish is that it was a little bigger and had more meat in it.. for 14$ it is not a very big portion but was probably one of the more flavorful items we got while in the park! I would get it again 10/10

Go say HI to Ms. Cricket and get something good to eat. One of my go to places to eat in the park. The menu changes with the festivals. Look into the festival tasting pass to save some money on food in the park.
